Chocolate Lily, Chocolate Lily, Mission Bells: Fritillaria affinis (Synonyms: Fritillaria lanceolata, Fritillaria affinis ssp. affinis, Fritillaria affinis var. affinis, Fritillaria lanceolata var. gracilis, Fritillaria lanceolata var. tristulis, Fritillaria multiflora, Fritillaria parviflora, Fritillaria phaeanthera, Lilium affine) - Tepals dark brownish purple, mottled with greenish yellow. Leaves 3-25 mm wide. Tepals 20-30 mm long, oblong to oblong-lanceolate, tapering mostly to the tip. Generally found from the eastern slopes of the Cascades westward with a few locations recorded in the Blue Mts.

Chocolate Lily, Purple Fritillary, Spotted Fritillary: Fritillaria atropurpurea (Synonyms: Fritillaria adamantina, Fritillaria gracillima) - Tepals dark brownish purple, mottled with greenish yellow. Leaves 2-7 mm wide. Tepals 12-20 mm long and elliptical in shape, tapering about equally to both tips. Widespread east of the Cascades.

Yellow Bells, Yellow Fritillary, Yellow Missionbells:: Fritillaria pudica (Synonyms: Lilium pudicum, Ochrocodon pudicus) - Tepals deep yellow, orange or reddish-tinged and not mottled. Widespread east of the Cascades.
