1. Sensitive leaves fold at night or when touched.

2. White, pink or yellow flowers with 5 petals.

3. Three clover-like leaves.


Uses or Importances:

1. Oxalic acid mildly poisonous, stimulates stomach.

2. Leaves & flowers can be eaten in salads. Sour taste.

3. Laxative effects if eaten in large amounts.
