[Review Flower Menu Week #3]

#16. This wildflower is False Solomon's Seal. Its scientific name is Smilacina racemosa.

It lives in moist, shady woods (like other lilies of the forest).

It may be planted as a pretty, fragrant flower for moist, shady natural gardens. The berries, although bland, are edible. The juice of the stems may be used to stop bleeding wounds, as the juice causes constriction (closing) of the blood vessels.
