#20. This wildflower is Skunk Cabbage. Its scientific name is Lysichitum americanum.

It is a member of the Arum Family.

To prepare this plant so it is safe to eat, take the leaves and boil them. Dump off the water, then boil a second time, pouring off the water. The leaves are then like spinach and safe to eat.
