Graph 3 represents a population of paramecia (a type of "wee beastie") in a laboratory dish. Study the graphs and then answer the question below.

The dashed line in graphs 1 & 3 represents the carrying capacity or the population that could be sustained or kept alive with the resources that are available in that environment.
