#38. Sea Gull

Group Name:

Gull Family - Birds (Aves)

Habitat:

Lakes, rivers, coasts, garbage dumps, fields.

Traits:

1) Body of mature gulls mostly white.

2) Gray back and upper wings.

3) Black wing tips with white speckles.

4) Young gulls have brown or gray blotches all over body until they are 2 years old.

5) Eat shellfish, fish, garbage, handouts, etc.
