Habitat:

Found near any water, often perched on trees, posts, wires.

Traits:

1. Big, tufted head with long, thick bill.

2. Head, back, & wings are blue-gray.

3. Belly is white with a gray stripe.

4. Females have a 2nd rusty stripe.

5. To 14 in. long.

6. Often seen hoovering above water in search of fish.
