Habitat:

Bats often fly near woods or over water. They may alos be found in urban habitats. Nest in caves, hollow trees.

Traits:

1. Wings covered by fur..

2. Fingers visible at mid-wing.

3. Uses echolocation to find prey (insects).

4. Small eyes, as they hunt in twilight.

5. Eat 1/2 their weight in insects in one night which is a help to us in ridding skies of pesky bugs.

6. Rarely have rabies, but if you see one out in daylight, it may be sick. STAY AWAY FROM IT!!!!!!!!!!
