As the electrons migrate through the electron transport chain, the energy in the electrons is used to create many ATP!
After losing its electrons and hydrogen at the cristae, NAD+ returns to the cytoplasm (or Krebs Cycle) where it can pick up more electrons and hydrogens to keep respiration going!
