Pale Larkspur, White Rock Larkspur
Delphinium leucophaeum
Synonym: Delphinium nuttallii ssp. ochroleucum
Close-up frontal view of the flower of pale larkspur. The larger petal-like structures that have green venation and greenish tips are actually the sepals. The centrally located petals are much smaller than sepals with the upper petals an attractive inky blue color while the lower petals are notched at the tip and covered with long, spreading hairs.
