Great camas blooming in a ditch alongside the Springwater Trail at restored wetlands at the southeast corner of Powell Butte, Gresham, OR.....May 13, 2023. Note the long tepals twisted around the maturing fruits and the bilateral symmetry of the flowers which help differentiate this from Camassia quamash ssp. maxima which can also be found in the east Portand and west Gresham, OR area.
