Alnus sinuata (A. sitchensis)

Wavy-leaved Alder from the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest of northeastern Oregon.
Wavy-leaved Alder lives in moist valley bottoms, along the lower courses of mountain streams, and in marshy flats. It may form pure stands on occasion, but is often interspersed as understory with western red cedar and broadleaf maple.
