Additional photos of lemon-scented tarweed as seen in weedy grasslands in the Labyrinth, central Columbia River Gorge...............May 5, 2010. Slender tarweed (Madia gracilis) is similar in appearance but can be identified by the numerous gland-tipped hairs on the upper stem and involucral bracts and the fewer long hairs at those two locations.
