What appears to be a hybrid balsamroot observed at Catherine Creek in the Columbia River Gorge of Washington..........April 19, 2018. There are multiple flower heads clustered at the tip of the stem, suggesting B. careyana while the leaves are broad, deltoid with wavy margins, suggesting B. deltoidea.
