What appears to be knotty leaf rush growing on the sandy and gravelly bank of the Columbia River at the Dalles Riverside Park..................October 12, 2011. Note the open inflorescence which appears to be terminal. Any bracts subtending the inflorescence are much shorter than the inflorescence.
