An unidentified crustose lichen (possibly a Rhizocarpon sp. ?) seen along the old Champion Lumber Compay Road on basalt rocks about three-quarters of a mile south of Beeks Canyon, Gifford Pinchot National Forest..........July 11, 2013. The site is uphill to the west of the Klickitat River on Klickitat Wildlife Area lands.
