Cartilage Lichen ?
Ramalina subleptocarpha
What appears to be cartilage lichen (Ramalina subleptocarpha) on fallen oak branches. The similar farinose cartilage lichen (Ramalina farinacea) has narrower lobes, which is why I've tentatively identified this as the R. subleptocarpha. Photographed about 3 and one-half miles east of the Klickitat River along Horseshoe Bend Road, Klickitat County, Washington..............March 31, 2012.
