Grand Collomia, Large-flowered Collomia, Large-flower Mountain-trumpet: Collomia grandiflora - Plants 20-100 cm high. Corolla large and showy, measuring 20-30 mm long with the salmon to flesh-colored lobes 5-10 mm long. All the stem leaves are similar in shape, generally linear or narrowly to broadly lanceolate.

Variableleaf Collomia, Varied-leaf Collomia, Varied-leaf Mountain-trumpet: Collomia heterophylla - Plants to 40 cm high. Corolla smaller, measuring 8-17 mm long with the lobes 3-4 mm long. The lower leaves are noticeably different from those of the upper stem (hence the species name "heterophylla". The lower blades are pinnatifid to subpinnatifid while the upper become reduced and less cleft.
