Several photos showing close-up views of a possible hybrid lupine as
seen along state road #14 near Wishram, WA.......September 29, 2007. Note the tightly congested inflorescence, which is more reminiscent of velvet lupine (Lupinus leucophyllus) than of silky lupine (Lupinus sericeus).
Note the dense covering of felt-like hairs found on both leaflet surfaces.
