Synonyms: Lomatium triternatum var. alatum, Lomatium triternatum var. brevifolium, Lomatium triternatum var. macrocarpum

Note: DNA testing suggests that most of the Lomatium triternatum var. triternatum in the western half of Oregon and Washington is potentially Lomatium brevifolium. Waiting upon both states to confirm or not implement that concept.

What appears to be nineleaf desert parsley (var. brevifolium) blooming (left) low on the southeast slopes of Sevenmile Hill just east of the Wasco County Rock Pit, Columbia River Gorge.........March 30, 2015. The photo at right shows what might be nineleaf desert parsley (var. brevifolium) blooming about one-half mile uphill to the north of the position seen at left on USFS lands high on Sevenmile Hill.........April 23, 2016. This individual plant is about 1.5-2 feet high.
