What may be Fremont's goosefoot on the sandy beach along the Columbia River shore at the Dalles Riverside Park........October 12, 2011. When I shot the photos, I was thinking this might be lambsquarters (Chenopodium album), but upon looking at the photos more closely, I noticed that the leaves might be a bit greener than those of C. album, plus they seem a bit narrower and lack teeth along the margins, although a few leaves have hints of a pair of short lobes at the base of the blade. Can you help verify the identity of this species?
