Gray's broomrape as seen in a vernal pond in the Columbia River Gorge in Klickitat County, Washington.......July 27, 2011. Associated plants include Beckmannia syzigachne, Grindelia columbiana, Spiraea douglasii var. menziesii, Symphyotrichum spathulatum, Ventenata dubia and other grasses. The Grindelia and Symphyotrichum appear to be this species' host plants.
