Denseflower spikeprimrose as seen in vernal swales along the Klickitat River approximately west of the old Soda Springs campground, Klickitat State Wildlife Recreation Area.......July 21, 2011. The pink-flowered form is generally more common than the white-flowered form pictured here. Note also that the leaves are generally entire. The similar smooth willowherb (Epilobium pygmaeum) has denticulate or mintuely toothed leaves.
