Deerfoot, Deer's-foot, Sweet-after-death, Vanillaleaf, Vanilla Leaf: Achlys triphylla (Synonyms: Achlys californica, Achlys triphylla ssp. triphylla, Leontice triphylla) - Low herbs with ternately-compound leaves which are somewhat wing-shaped. Flowers white.

Oregon Grapes: The Genus Berberis (Mahonia) - Low to medium height shrubs with pinnately compound, spine-tipped leaves. Inflorescence a raceme of yellow flowers.

Inside-out-flower, Northern Vancouveria, White Inside-out Flower: Vancouveria hexandra (Synonyms: Epimedium hexandrum, Vancouveria brevicula, Vancouveria picta) - Low herbs with pinnately-compound leaves with leaflets which are shaped like ducks feet.
