Lower stem leaf clusters of sticky arnica as seen at about 5900' on a steep gravelly drainage below east-facing cliffs on the east side of the Goat Rocks. This site is several hundred yards west of an old pack trail between the North and South Forks Conrad Creek, Goat Rocks Wilderness.........July 21, 2016. The leaves are fairly thick, stiff and very sticky.

Sticky arnica as seen at about 6100' on a very steep gravelly drainage below east-facing cliffs on the east side of the Goat Rocks. This site is several hundred yards west of a 20' high waterfall where the South Fork Conrad Creek turns south a mile before its origin, Goat Rocks Wilderness.........July 22, 2016.
