Marsh cudweed as seen in burnt forest between Bird Creek and Bird Lake at Bird Creek Meadows, Mt. Adams, Yakama Nation Lands..........September 1, 2017. Until recently, weedy species were limited to the lower periphary of Mount Adams, but numerous recent wildfires in combination with some cattle trespass have introduced this weed and bull thistle into the subalpine zone of the mountain.
