The photo above shows the overall form of slender cudweed as seen along forest road #23 at the Mt. Adams viewpoint about one-half mile south of road #8810.........August 6, 2005. The inflorescence of this species is much more open than that of the similar cotton-batting plant (Gnaphalium chilense).
