What appears to be pacific woodrush (Luzula comosa: the old Luzula campestris var. congesta from Hitchcock) as seen in moist meadows along the Fish Lake shoreline, Steens Mountain of southeastern Oregon.............June 2, 2012. Note the dense, single inflorescence atop each scape.
