Additional images of cut-leaved microseris as seen in vernally moist wetlands near the northern edge of the Klickitat Breaks unit of Klickitat Wildlife Area...........June 30, 2014. Note the broad involucral bracts, which are often purple-spotted (not in this case). This helps identify this taxon from the rarer ssp. leptosepala which has lanceolate bracts which are rarely red or purple-spotted.
