Corn
Chamomile, Dogfennel, Field Chamomile
Anthemis arvensis
Synonym: Anthemis arvensis var. arvensis

The photo above shows the daisy-like flower
head of chamomile as seen along Forest Road #23 at the Mt. Adams viewpoint about
one-half mile south of the intersection with Road #8810 at the southwestern
corner of Mt. Adams..........August 6, 2005. All photos on this page
were taken at this location.

The photo above shows the pinnately lobed leaf
of chamomile.

The photo above shows the general form of this
herb. The plant has a pleasant smell as opposed to the ill-scented leaves of
stinking chamomile (Anthemis cotula) which has yet to be documented on the mountain.
