The photo above shows the upper and lower surfaces
of an unidentified willow seen along Road #23 about one-third mile south of
the junction with Rd #8810 at the southwestern corner of Mt. Adams.......September
25, 2005. Sorry, no floral parts were evident on the plants seen.

The photo above shows a close-up of the sparsely haired dorsal
surface of the basal portion of the leaf blade and its large stipules.

A close-up of the vlevety hairs to be found on the ventral sides
of the leaves.
