[The Pea Family in Mt. Adams Country]

The photo above shows scot's broom in a clearcut at 3500' on Rd K6000 on the southeastern side of Mt. Adams........May 29, 2005. This plant is fortunately, fairly rare on the mountain although I am seeing more of them in recently cleared clearcuts below 3000 on the south side. If left unchecked, it will become more prevalent in disturbed areas on the mountain.
