Slender-fruit Desert Parsley
Lomatium leptocarpum ?
or Lomatium triternatum

The photo above shows the slender, developing fruits atop
short pedicels of this species. Note also the narrow bractlets at the base of
the inflorescence. Photographed at a DNR rock quarry at about 4100' abreast
a ridge dividing the Dairy Creek and Cougar Creek drainages at the southeastern
