The photo above shows a close-up of the flower of this unidentified willow-herb as seen at a small creek along the Killen Creek Trail #113 about one-half mile below the junction with the Pacific Crest Trail.........August 7, 2005. All photos on this page were taken at this location. The erect stems were few in number and up to 25-30 cm high. Based upon seeing the leaves, this might be club-fruited willowherb (Epilobium clavatum).
