What might be a tube lichen as seen on tree trunks in the southern Washington Cascades. Photographed along the Pacific Crest Trail #2000 about one mile south of Forest Service Road 60 along the west side of the Big Lava Bed, Gifford Pinchot National Forest...........August 31, 2013.
