Simple-stem bur-reed as seen in a small pond near the junction of the Klickitat Trail #7 and Cispus Lookout Trail #127, Gifford Pinchot National Forest..........July 4, 2015. Note that on some plants there appears to be one male spike, whereas on others there appear to be two.
