The photo at left shows clustered rose as seen at about 4000' on the old logging road on the northern side of the ridgetop that divides Dairy and Cougar Creeks at the southeastern side of Mt. Adams.........June 11, 2005. Note the numerous gland-tipped hairs on the pedicels and sepal margins which help identify this species.
