Nightblooming False Bindweed, Night-blooming Bindweed, Night-blooming Morning-glory
Calystegia atriplicifolia ssp. atriplicifolia
Synonym: Convolvulus nyctagineus
The photo above shows a small cluster of blossoms
of night-blooming morning-glory as seen along the Island Springs Trail on the
eastern slopes of Mt. Adams.......July 1, 2005. This species might make
an attractive wildflower for use at the front of a border or along a path, since
its growth is quite restrained (The vines are at most 20 cm long.).
