A close-up frontaland side view of the corolla of naked broomrape as seen in the King Mountain Rock Garden RNA of the Umpqua National Forest.........June 25, 2005. Note the calyx lobes which are twice to more than twice as long as the calyx tube, which helps distinguish this from Aphyllon uniflorum which has caly lobes equal to or slightly longer than the calyx tube.
One-flowered broomrape spotted on a road cut along Washington Highway 142 opposite Soda Springs, Klickitat Wildlife Area lands.....April 21, 2024. They look to be parasitizing Micranthes fragosa.
