A view northeast along Rickreall Ridge. Although in close proximity to the wettest part of the Coast Range, there are many exposed, rocky slopes and ridgetops in the area where plants of drier habitats can thrive.

Rickreall Ridge is situated west of Dallas, OR immediately to the east of the crest of the Coast Range.
