South side of road approximately 1.4 miles above the intersection with the road into Jackman Park Camp Ground.

This site includes the headwaters of Fish Creek, including meadows, riparian areas, surrounded by mountain big sagebrush and a north-facing slope with some still-persisting snow. The area is currently under private ownership.
