A view northeast across the riparian area of this site withthe road to Blue Sky in the immediate distance and the north slopes of Beatty Butte on the horizon at right and the Steens Mt. faintly seen on the center horizon.

Elevation: 6138' --- N42* 25.497' --- W119* 39.921' --- +/-13'

The area studied is a small draw running uphill to the west of Blue Sky Rd and the ridge that is to the west of the draw. The area is a favorite of butterflies.
