[Dandelions: The Genus Taraxacum East of the Cascade Mountains of Oregon and Washington]

Red-seeded dandelion as seen along the Wapaloose Mountain Trail #15 about one-quarter mile east and downhill from the junction with the Kettle Crest Trail #13, Kettle Range, Colville National Forest........June 23, 2016. Both trails get some horse traffic, so I'd guess that may be the source of this non-native species.
