Baker's hawksbeard observed in meadows in a drainage south of Box Canyon Rod near the southern boundary of the Simcoe Mountains Unit, Klickitat Wildlife Area.....April 15, 2021. Note the greenish leaves, often with a purple-red center stripe which helps distinguish from western hawksbeard (Crepis occidentalis) which has grayish or gray-green foliage. Note also the variability in leaf form.
