The photo above shows a close-up of the involucral bracts of rayless daisy as seen along the Willard Springs Trail near the Conboy Lake NWR Headquarters. The rays on this species are totally lacking. Note that the narrow bracts are of several different lengths. Photographed July 28, 2006.
