An unidentified thistle as seen in Big Creek Campground at Logan Valley, Malheur National Forest..........July 19, 2013. Note the cream-colored flowers at the top of each flower head. At first I thought this might be Cirsium brevifolium, but it seems to be more spiny than others I've seen of that species.
