Western wormwood is a wildflower that may be found along the edges of streams and rivers below the high water mark.
Range:
Western wormwood is found mostly east of the Cascades along the banks of the Columbia River and its major tributaries.
In the Columbia River Gorge, riverbank wormwood may be
found below the high water mark along the Columbia River, Deschutes River and John Day River from the Sandy River in the west and eastward towards Umatilla, OR
