Retrorse sedge as seen on the gravelly banks of the Klickitat River near the Klickitat Trail at the Mineral Springs........October 23, 2011. Note the crowded lateral female spikes and terminal male spikes as well as the inflorescence bracts which are significantly longer than the inflorescnce.
