Additional close-ups of the perigynia and inflorescences of smallwing sedge in vernally moist meadows in Summit Prairie, Malheur National Forest................August 2, 2011. The site is more towards the outer edges of the prairie at a slightly higher elevation than many of the other moist prairie sedges.
