Ample-leaved sedge growing next to a culvert in a ditch along FS Road #16 at Summit Prairie, Malheur National Forest.........August 2, 2011. The longer lateral spike at left is more typical for this species, although the lower female spike in the photo atcenter and at right is still longer than the minimum spike length of 3 cm.
